LESSON 13 – MIGRATION TOWARDS EGYPT
Lesson 13 – Migration Towards Egypt (Luke 2)
When the wisemen departed, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Arise, take the young child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young child to destroy Him.”
When he arose, he took the young child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt.
Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was very angry; and he sent soldiers to kill all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.
But baby Jesus was protected by God. Whatever issues we go through, if we trust in God and lead a life with Him, He will protect us.
Bible Verse:
Matthew 2:14 — When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt.
My Decision:
I will live a life with God within me. He will protect me in His safe hands. I will praise Him. Hallelujah!
